Character History: Born to a simple family in Stormwind, his parents moved to Southshore. His father worked at Ravenhold manor, though Taibak knows not what he did. His parents were killed during a Horde raid on the small village when Taibak was a small child.

Taibak was raised at Ravenholdt, but left as a teenager looking to find success on his own. As a young man he was imprisoned in the Stockades of Stormwind for murdering the son of a prominent nobleman - Taibak has always maintained it was an accident, and in self-defense. Due to various family ties, SI:7 secured his release from the Stockades, but not after he had endured much brutal torture.

He spent the next few years of his life as an officer aboard a Pirate vessel, openly doing business with the Hord and attacking Alliance ships. While a pirate, the ship made a trading stop in Silvermoon City - there Taibak had a romantic encounter with a Blood Elf and her memory has always stayed with him.

Not long after the Captain died of an infection brought on by a wound he received in Battle. Taibak was one of the officers who vied for Captanship of the vessel, he lost.

He was granted his fair-shore of the ships holdings and made his home in Booty Bay for a year, there he spent most of his time drunk, and brawling with the various travelers who came to the town. After one too many defeats he became the joke of the town, and decided it was time to move on with his life.

He made is way home, to Southshore. While in the highlands he saw the work that The Keepers of Stromgarde were doing to help rebuild and defend their home. Something stirred in Taibak when he saw this. He decided then and there to enlist, and try to rid himself of his past, and his personal demons.
